This carving received a Highly Commended Award in the Lysaght Watt Trust Art Awards. It was exhibited at the Lysaght Watt Art Gallery in Hawera, South Taranaki.
The awards theme was: Daily Life. The rendering of an esspresso cup and saucer carved in marble represented a daily habit that I endulge in. The two sugar cubes complete the set.
