Carving stone is a human tradition that relates to every culture and dates back to the beginning of civilisation. Using stone for items worn on the body such as shoes, corsets, eyelashes, nails and lipstick alters the context and renders the items unwearable.

Unwearable Art is the title of a new body of work concerned with the lengths women go to to be attractive. Many of the clothes, shoes and other adornments are often uncomfortable to wear and can be harmful, yet these items are attractive in themselves.

Faux Eyelashes are the more lighthearted pieces in this selection of Unwearable Art.
